Spitfire Mk 22/24 Ca24The last variant Spitfires produced, the Mk22 began production in March 1945 and saw service in the Pacific Theatre before the end of the war. The Mk24 had minor detail and equipment changes, the basic airframe being the same. Kit Contents: Obechi veneered foam wing panels cut to a true eliptical section and routed to receive the aileron servos. Pre-cut ply and balsa wood parts. Tough, durable three piece moulded cowling and moulded detail parts. Moulded elevator and rudder surfaces. Clear moulded canopy. Optional pre-bent wire undercarriage or retractable undercarriage versions, the latter having the full installation worked out and the wing routed to the shape required. Airmark Cassutt III m (ca20) Designed by airline pilot Captain Tom Cassutt in the mid fifties, the Cassutt became popular both as a racer and with the American homebuilders. Brought to england by Airmark Ltd in the late 60s, it was made available in kit form or as a set of plans. The IIIM upon which the model is based is the thicker wing and wider fuselage version, as opposed to the IIM with only 6% chord/thickness ratio and 18.5" fuselage width! The Cambrian FLYER. (CA16) A simple but attractive basic trainer designed to overcome the problems experienced by beginners with many of the so called "trainers" on the market today. The FLYER's jig built fuselage ensures a proper set up of the wing and tailplane incidence, whilst downthrust is built in and all holes for the motor mount, cables and dowels etc. are pre-drilled. The clean lines and light weight of the Cambrian FLYER mean that it can be flown on low power by the novice, allowing more time for recovery should any co-ordination problems develop. The kit contains: Jig built plywood fuselage. Veneered foam wing panels. Pre-sectioned leading edges, rear spars, ailerons, elevators and rudder (the control surfaces being pre-drilled to receive hinges).
