Dinefwr
Treks Personally guided outdoor holidays in Mid-Wales |
||
Hello, I'm
Bryan and I run Dinefwr Treks specialising in Guided
Walking and Birdwatching holidays. My aim is to provide
you with a relaxed and enjoyable break in a warm friendly
atmosphere, and introduce you to good Welsh hospitality,
in parties of up to ten people. |
||
Accomodation For the budget conscious traveller Alternatively Hotel accomodation is based in Llanwrtyd Wells, the smallest town in Britain. It is the sort of Welsh town you can drive through in less than a minute, but as is often the case you'd be missing an awful lot. The two hotels we use are the Lasswade and the Carlton House. Both have a first class reputation for cuisine, full facilities are provided, and the hosts will offer you warm hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere. |
I want you to enjoy the
scenery, while I take care of the route finding. I shall
reveal to you the scenic beauty of mid-Wales and give you
an insight into the folklore, history and wildlife of the
area. We will wander over the open moors and hills,
dawdle along the streams,and idle our way through lunch
at a scenic location. We will follow old drovers roads
and explore the kingdoms of the Welsh Princes. If we are lucky, we may catch a glimpse of the rare Red Kite. For the coming season, we are also offering holidays based on the Pembrokeshire coastal path, Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. |
|
Holidays normally run for seven days but
longer or shorter breaks can be arranged as
required. There is also a winter walking programme |
