PLACEMENTS FOR EUROPEAN STUDENTS AND GRADUATES

European Leonardo Da Vinci Placement Programme

GROWTH organises project-based work placements for European students and graduates in British companies throughout Wales and the West Midlands. Placements can last from 3-12 months in duration and a subsidy may be available for the first 3 months to help with the cost of living.

OUR AIM:

To help small and medium sized companies gain access to multi-lingual world class graduates of all disciplines. To have bilingual staff is an asset to any type of company.

To help students and graduates obtain quaility work experience which will prove beneficial in terms of their studies or in terms of their career prospects.

Participants should be registered with a Leonardo Da Vinci co-ordinator in their own country. To find out more information, contact your local University Enterprise Training Programme(UETP) office through your college or university.

The Leonardo Programme provides a grant to the student at the rate of �60 per week for three months. The host institution should match this with a contribution of �60 per week or a contribution up to the same value(e.g. provide board and lodging).

This programme is currently open to students from all member states of the European Union, and will soon be available to students from certain Central and Eastern European countries.
